If walking downtown from the Cornell campus, budget 30 minutes and walk along the Cascadilla Gorge Trail, which offers breathtaking natural scenery as it traverses the bottom of a gorge, alongside waterfalls, eventually arriving at the intersection of Court and Linn Streets, three blocks from the Commons.

Lyft and Uber both operate in Ithaca, but the market is thinner than in a major metropolitan area, so you should be prepared to wait longer for your driver to pick you up.

The Statler Hotel has a free shuttle service to and from the airport for all guests staying here. You must call the front desk in advance to schedule, or email at:

The Ithaca Marriott and the Hilton Canopy Inn have a free shuttle service to and from the airport and to and from Cornell University. You must call the front desk in advance to schedule.

In Town Bus Service

TCAT (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit)

TCAT Operates 37 routes serving the Cornell campus, Ithaca and the surrounding communities.

You can use google maps to find bus routes to take you to from the Statler to where you’d like to go.

You can walk downtown in about 15-20 minutes, but the bus service is easy to use and goes straight from Cornell campus to downtown. The walk back up the hill isn’t as easy!
